Denplan

Denplan
Denplan is the UK’s leading dental payment plan specialist. They support patients by allowing them to budget for their routine private dental care by making regular monthly payments and encourage a preventative approach to oral healthcare.
Denplan was set up in 1986 by two dentists who wanted to offer an alternative to NHS dentistry. They created a system that simplified administration within the dental practice.
We are a Denplan practice in Newcastle and actively promote Denplan and the benefits it gives to you. It’s an easy and affordable way to spread the cost of your routine preventative and restorative dental care. Denplan also provides supplementary insurance to provide cover if you have a dental injury or dental emergency worldwide!
Denplan Care (including Denplan for Children)
The monthly fee for Denplan Care is based upon the existing condition of your teeth and gums, this acts as an indicator for how much dental care you will need in the future. As a guide, patients are typically band B or C. At your initial examination, your dentist would inform you which band you would be. The monthly fee for Denplan for Children is based upon age. Included within both plans is a supplementary insurance, to provide worldwide cover if you have a dental injury or dental emergency (if more than 40 miles from home).
What’s included
- Check-ups and x-rays
- Scaling, polishing and other hygiene treatments
- All fillings and extractions
- Crowns, bridges, dentures, veneers and inlays (excluding laboratory fees)
- Root Canal Treatment
Denplan Essentials
The monthly fee for Denplan Essentials is based upon a discussion between you and the dentist regarding the number of check-ups and scale and polishes that would be needed throughout the year. Your dentist would advise at the initial examination appointment, based upon the condition of your teeth and gums, but ultimately the choice is yours. Included within the plan is a supplementary insurance, to provide worldwide cover if you have a dental injury or dental emergency (if more than 40 miles from home). If you sign up on the day of your initial examination there will be no charge for the initial appointment.
